Expedition Pass Reservoir is a deep, small surface area reservoir situated outside Chewton, Victoria. A popular swimming hole the reservoir is also a fishing spot, with estuary perch being stocked in the past. The reservoir is currently overrun with redfin most being small rumours of Golden perch are also about.
Trekking around the reservoir all I could reel in was redfin around 10 centimetres long, It’s an excellent reservoir to fish. Deep water metres from the edge due to the steep banks plus very little to no weed apart from the bullrush on the edge.
