Forest Lake Kangaroo flat is a small lake situated in a housing estate. Forest Lake is quite weedy under the surface but has very clear water with depths up to 2 metres. Fishing at Forest Lake features redfin, goldfish and trout which get stocked in the winter school holidays. The lake also has a large bird population consisting of water hens, ducks and black swans.
