Goodbye to my old plan its time for a new one. Its been over a year since getting a Freedom hosting plan at VentraIP instead of renewing it i went a different route…
I was on the Freedom plan which has 15GB of storage, 200% CPU allowance and 4GB Ram (memory) allowance at $159.18 p/y (with 30% off coupon). The Premier plan has 25GB of storage, 300% CPU allowance and 6GB memory allowance plus more inodes, processes and I/O speed for $243.18 p/y (with 30% off coupon).
The main reason for upgrading was because of the current 30% off coupon in conjunction with my old plan expiring and to renew the Freedom plan would have cost more than to use the coupon and upgrade. I could have gone a Freedom plan again with the coupon but i needed more storage space plus the extra resource allowance is nice.
The my new plan got put on a new server which is a pretty obvious outcome, as the Premier plan does state that it gets put onto a node with 50 users rather than 150 or 75 that comes with a Starter or Freedom plan.
Interesting enough the Premier node looks to be fresh and running easy. Little memory, CPU and storage usage compared to the Freedom plan. Maybe i got put onto one of the newer servers and over time it will fill up.
As for now though it is looking good and i have more storage that i desired.
