The PHP foreach loop is the best and easiest way to iterate through an array. Here are some examples of the foreach loop.
$array = array(0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5);
foreach ($array as $value) {
$output = $value * 10;
echo "$output
";
} This will look like:
0
10
20
30
40
50
$i = 0;
$array = array(0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5);
foreach ($array as $value) {
$i++;
$output = $value * 10;
echo "$output loop: $i
";
} This will look like:
0 1
10 2
20 3
30 4
40 5
50 6
$i = 0;
$array = array(0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5);
foreach ($array as $value) {
$i++;
$output = $value * 10;
echo "$output loop: $i
";
if ($i++ == 4) break;
This will look like:
0 1
10 2
20 3
30 4
$array = [
[0, 1, 2],
[3, 4, 5],
];
foreach ($array as list($a, $b, $c)) {
echo "A: $a; B: $b C: $c
";
} This will look like:
A:0 B:1 C:2
A:2 B:3 C:4
