With a reputation of being an inland sea complete with 1 meter plus waves it is rare for Waranga Basin to be smooth. The massive area coverage with minimal hills nearby allows for the wind to whip across the surface with no restrictions.

Thankfully the weather report had a correct wind reading and the water was very flat.
